Core Features

  • This classically styled spiralbound Studio A5 landscape sketchbook is made from greyboard covered with black Wibalin cloth (which restricts warping), and a premium heavyweight 170gsm cartridge paper. The spiral binding is silver
  • Our drawing books also have sufficient tooth (surface texture) for general art and design applications, suitable for light washes. Slight buckling will occur when using watercolours and inks
  • All of Artway Studio branded sketchbooks are 100% acid free, we choose to use an oxygenated process rather than a bleaching one to whiten our papers
  • The ring binding allows you to add additional material to the drawing pad or to easily remove pages. We recommend manually closing the wire loops on a regular basis to stop the book from loosening, particularly if you have pages with added material.
  • This premium plain paper artist pad is ideal for sketching ideas or presenting work. It also works well as a scrapbook!

The Artway Studio Spiral Bound sketchbook range is, just like our traditional casebound version, an elegant and professional spiral notebook - available here in A5 landscape format. As with all of our Studio products, the spiral bound version uses high quality materials, for an excellent balance of beauty and practicality.

A perfect fit as a small watercolour sketchbook (the heavyweight, 170gsm, high quality paper can take a light wash with only minimal buckling), the professional appearance of this landscape sketchpad means it can also be used as a professional notebook, for small painting studies or drawing with graphite pencil and ink. In addition, the silver spiral binding allows for natural expansion, so layered or textile work can be easily accommodated, making the Studio Spiral a perfect small fashion sketchbook.

Fully hardcover and spiral bound in the UK with 1” silver wiro, each sketch pad contains 48 pages (96 sides) of our premium, 170gsm, Artway cartridge paper. The cover material is Wibalin - a black paper used for its cloth texture and to restrict warping.
