Artway Terms and Conditions

It is considered that customers who visit and continue to use the Artway website agree to the terms and conditions specified. Please make sure you read the Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) carefully. We may occasionally change the T&C, therefore, please make sure you check back often to stay up to date. ​

What We Do

Artway is a UK-based art materials brand, selling a range of creative sullies such as sketchbooks, portfolios, paint brushes, paper & card.

Orders

We generally try to ship all orders within 2 working day of receiving the order. We offer expedited shipping as an option for those needing their items within 2 working days.

Many of our products are made from recycled materials so this can result in variation in colour/finish between products.

We do our very best to represent products accurately in the photography, however, as we have no control over customers' monitor/mobile settings (resolution, colours, etc.) We are unable to guarantee colours will be exactly as they appear on the website. ​

Payment

Artway Ltd uses secure payment facilities for online purchases. We accept all major credit and debit cards. All of our online transactions are processed securely by the merchant service provider PayPal and/or Stripe. Your credit card number will be encrypted when your order is placed using SSL encryption software. The merchant providers inform us, via the encryption system, the outcome of the transaction. We are unable to advise as to why your payment may have been declined, only your bank can provide that information.

You will have the option to checkout as a guest or sign up to create an account.

Once your transaction is complete you will receive an email to confirm your order has been paid for. Please keep this email as proof of purchase. 

For wholesale customers, the option of a BACS payment is available.

VAT is charged at the standard rate. The title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until payment has been made in full to the vendor, any monies received by the purchaser following the sale of such goods or any part of them by the purchaser, shall be held by the purchaser on trust, for the vendor.

Damaged/pilfered goods

You must claim in writing against the carriers for any goods damaged or pilfered within 3 days of receipt of goods. We strongly recommend that you also show the parcels to the carrier and sign for the goods as damaged, otherwise a claim may be invalid.

Return of goods

You have the right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days of receipt of your goods. We regret that returned goods cannot be accepted without prior authorisation. Please contact us on 01225 819241 to arrange the return of your goods and to receive your refund. The goods must be returned to us within 14 days of you contacting us and we will refund your money within 14 days of us receiving the goods back. The goods must be in the same condition as you received them for full credit allowance. 

The return of such items is the full responsibility of the customer, and the goods must be securely packaged to ensure that they arrive back to us undamaged. Please also obtain proof of postage. If the goods are not faulty (ie it is a remorse return) then the purchaser is responsible for paying the cost of the return postage. If cancelling after 14 days and the goods are not faulty then an administration fee of £2.50 will be deducted from your refund and any charge for delivery will not be refunded.

Knives, Scalpels & Blades

Under the Offensive Weapons Act, it is an offence to sell knives, knife blades or any other product that may be perceived as an offensive weapon to persons under the age of 18. These products are only available for customers aged 18 or over. Customers should not order these items for persons under 18. By placing an order on our website, you agree to our terms and conditions of sale and hence confirm that you are over 18 years of age and can legally purchase products covered by the Offensive Weapons Act.

Your Right to be Forgotten

Your right to be forgotten gives you the option to have any data such as your name and email address to be erased from any particular website. If you have an account with us, you can put forward a request to be forgotten via the Contact page and we will delete any personal data that you provided. Once we have deleted your data, you will no longer have access to your account which will includes the following:

  • Order History
  • Store Credit
  • Wish List
