Description
The Studio Multi Art paper packs contains sheets of heavy 240gsm paper in a slightly off-white colour tone, featuring a slightly rougher surface texture than typical cartridge paper. The weight also provides some extra rigidity, bringing it closer to the feel of card stock.
The hard wearing surface of the 240gsm paper means that it’s perfect for dry and soft media - lightly textured enough for detail work in ink using fineliners and dip pens but with sufficient tooth to hold looser particles of soft graphite pencil or soft pastels.
It can also be used for light watercolour paint application but only if you stretch the paper before use - this will help prevent the paper buckling or warping when water is applied. Oil painting is also possible if you first prepare the surface with gesso.
